If there is more than one person sharing the same computer at the same time, they can be logged in at the same time. This allows easily switching between the users allowing meetings or other joint events to be set up easily. Alternatively, some of the people in the same physical location can be logged in via laptops or mobile devices, which allows simultaneous access to their personal calendar and other information.
